@XxDARKNEXUSxX Very true. I abhor racism, and observe, ironically enough, that it is the most bigoted of our species that are the most likely to metaphorically fling their own poo.
In the 50's and 60's in the Uk it was common to hear parents call their child "a cheeky monkey" or a "daft apeth" it was actually quite endearing.

True but even in the last few years there were countless memes about President "Dubyu" Bush being a shaved chimpanzee and even your current President Cheeto had a long running public feud over Bill Maher calling him an Orangutan.
My point being that time, context and above all intent determine whether any word, phrase or epithet applied to another is offensive, humourous or abusive as in recent high profile cases.
