I'm surprised to hear that some country music radio stations still won't play "The Pill" by Lorretta Lynn written in 1974. According to this article, it still rankles feathers in conservative regions.

I was sipping a glass of rye whiskey while listening to Don. you know, if you listen closely, there are some really dark messages in those lyrics. i don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that he was prophetic.
