Does anyone get upset with posts like what is your favorite color,breakfast food,day,holiday etc.I joined to discuss events of the world, our government ,travel,theater,music etc. These other questions just seem to be aimed at generating points.

I’d say point accumulation is a definite motive (want some?).. My advice? Get good as skipping shit, don’t respond to posts of 3 or more in a row, skip ‘links’ (if they can’t describe it in their own words, why should you respond with yours?), and don’t join any groups, or ‘eco-chambers.’ Respond to what sparks your interests - period
Hope you stick around, though, I do think it’s obtained critical mass
