A "12 Cup" coffee maker is using the unit of measurement with each cup(a "C" ) as 8 ounces! I think my mugs and cups are at least 10 or 12 ounces.

We use 16 ounce mugs.

The standard "cup" is only 6 ounces

Same reason you get 90 cups of coffee out of a 196 cup container, they measure light. (8 oz vs what we really drink).

because an actual "cup" is 8oz, but most coffee mugs hold more than 8oz

It's the size of your cup. winkemoji.jpg

Don't worry, it's super hard to die of caffeine overdose.

No you don't die, but when I was youger, I did drink enough coffee to reach a point of "coffee toxification." You are just super jittery and feel ill at the same time. Cure is to eat solid wholesome food.

Now, two is usually my coff limit That is two cups as opposed to the two pots when I was younger.
