Another great example of why religion and government (the public) need to be separate. In the real world you get fired for shit like this.
SMH at this level of willful ignorance and meanness.

People lose their jobs over these types of heinous statements.

Not religious leaders though. 🗣

Athena Level 8 June 16, 2019

It could be argued that religious leaders don't actually have jobs, at least not in the sense of contributing to society.

Welcome to the Dark Modern Age, climate change is a hoax and vaccines kill people.

MizJ Level 8 June 16, 2019

Climate change is not a hoax but sadly, however rare, vaccines have killed people.

I have a friend who had a nephew who died two hours after being vaccinated. He was 6 and had no known allergies.

@Athena It is a fact, not all the preventative things in modern medicine are safe for ALL people.

@Athena Here's the problem with that argument, I will ignore that it's friend of a friend hearsay (the hallmark of urban legends). First, my knowledge comes from the study of microbiology in classrooms and labs. Science fascinates me.

The "study" that claimed dangers of vaccines contained falsified information, it was disproven and the doctor that authored it is barred from practicing medicine. A Playboy Bunny/actress spread the lies and it went viral. People heard the lies over and over and they became "facts". Are vaccines completely without risk? No. Without them millions will die of measles, polio, and other diseases that were almost entirely eradicated. If the smalll number of people that have true allergies are not vaccinated HERD IMMUNITY protects us all.

@MizJ
I'm not saying people shouldn't be vaccinated. The truth is vaccines do kill people sometimes.

Send me as many articles as you like. When a person dies from a vaccine, there's no denying that vaccines can kill. I said it's rare, but it has happened.

You know what else kills people? Shrimp, peanuts and other things people have reactions to. Most people can eat these things, but to say they don't kill people is false.

@Athena My point was not that there are zero deaths, my point is that the risk of not being vaccinated not only endangers the individual but society as a whole, including those that have been vaccinated as microbes are able to evolve. But hey, look how well the denial of science is working out for us. Shall we ask some of the species soon to be extinct due to human ignorance?

@MizJ

So, my initial comment stands. I don't see why this is even a discussion. Climate change is real and vaccines, however rare, can kill people.

@altschmerz A vaccine made me ill for a few days, I still get them as the disease would have likely killed me.

@MizJ
I'm very glad to hear it was helpful to you.

@Athena Perhaps you'll rethink when polio and measles come to your neighborhood.

@MizJ

I'm confused as to why you're so combative.

I made a nice comment to you. Your response was a persistent attempt to misrepresent my views. I've said more than once that I wasn't suggesting people shouldn't be vaccinated. I stated vaccines can sometimes kill people.

Your last comment was equivalent to me saying "Maybe you'll feel differently when someone you love dies from a vaccination."

It's in the bible..or some such magic book of fables.

Actually, it comes from breathing the incense.
