Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Urgent Care can & will tell you to go to an ER if your problem is beyond the scope of what they can provide. They can set broken bones,write RX's, but not give you an IV or ventilator.
It has happened to me! They gave me a wrtten note saying GO TO THE ER NOW. Absolutely Nothing to do with insurance, i have excellent insurance.

Read more. The whole thing is a sham based on the very real but sad fact that a kid died of previously undiagnosed heart condition, with a town mayor and a dad who are trying to turn a family tragedy into opportunity for publicity (wanna bet theres a GoFundMe attached). Its almost impossible for kids not nor be insured in CA because "left coast socialism" unless the parents actively eschewed public coverage. I call BS
