They're terrified that if we have a message of "unity", they're going to lose their religious privilege. If we have unity, people and groups will be treated equally, and be forced to follow the laws equally. No more putting their religious displays on public lands without also allowing displays of other religious beliefs next to theirs. No more putting their religious displays on public lands and being able to cry about "persecution" and "war on their religious beliefs" when other groups want to do the same thing. No more "it's perfectly fine to teach our religion in schools" without also teaching other religions. No more "it's perfectly fine to have our prayers in schools" without also having prayers of other beliefs. It's all about losing their religious privilege.
