By the way, who is this Jon Stewart? I dimly recognise him. I do not watch TV and have not since 1979, regarding my sanity as more important. Plus for 38 of those years I lived well off grid.

That said, there should be more media coverage across the board on that fiasco.

Based on articles that I've come across so far on that matter, it appears more rightwing media sites are covering that than leftwing ones, for some reason.

The right wing is blaming Mayor Pete. They're hoping no one will look into the back story on why the more advanced braking system was not in place. he oranfge cheeto repealed the rule about that braking system BUT the real kicker is the chemicals on that train would not have qualified for the need of those brakes. It is a bit convoluted and not so easy to sort out. Once the left figures it out they'll get an explanation out.

Total fuck up. Stock buy backs much more important than safety.

As was Drump stopping an Obama era mandatory update on braking systems..
