I'm saying, vote away if feel like it, but don't kid yourself that you really have any choices in federal elections or that we live in a functioning democracy. And also don't buy their bullshit when they say every time "this is the most important election ever, etc."..

And I would also argue against your point of not voting makes things worse, because voting Blue No Matter Who is how we have ended up with a Dem Party that is now to the right of Nixon. Voting for third parties instead, during the last 50 years, would certainly produced a better result than that. So as far as I'm concerned, voting for corporate, centrist Dems is just as much or more of a wasted vote than voting third party, because, at least with the latter, you are voting for what you actually want, and are discouraging the Dems from moving further to the right. Make the motherfuckers start earning your vote, instead of taking it for granted or treating you like Rahm Emanuel does, and telling you to shut up and fuck off, calling you a moron, etc..

@TomMcGiverin In you lifetime have you ever voted a third party candidate that won. Elections are not marriages, You don't forego the good to get the perfect,No matter how bad the democrat options have been(Mansion and Senima for instance both of whom vote with the party 95% of the time) they are still better than the republican alternative. If you do not vote you ARE voting for whoever wins . When was the last tiem that you attended a party convention and made your voice heard? when was the last time you found a candidate you liked and supported them in ways other than just voting? If you don't vote, you ARE the problem, not the solution.

A third party vote anytime over the last 50 years would have produced more republicans in power, not an option for me.

There is a reason the US has by far the lowest level of voter participation of any industrialized so-called democracy. And that reason is that most of the eligible voters have figured out what I am saying about the corrupt system and the duopoly and have chosen to not waste their time and effort on it anymore. And I bet most of them are actually more informed than most of those who still vote.
