The Dean of a University was asked to rank the departments. Physics came in last, he said because of all the expensive cyclotrons and high end equipment. Math was his second favorite because all they ever needed was a chalkboard and trashcans. "But", he said, "Philosophy is my very favorite. They don't even need trash cans!"
