Anyone have book recommendations?
1.Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
2.Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow
From Homo Deus, an excellent book:
"Was this, then the knowledge of the gods- how to make things, crops, and domesticated animals grow? And, was the Bible the story, and/or history, of the transition, perhaps difficult transition, from bands of hunter-gatherers to settled agriculturalists, creating newly needed social, and cultural norms and mores in order to live in one place, in some form of harmony?"
Probably, in my opinion.
The Gospel Of Matthew (first Century Stephen King), In Search of Schrödinger’s Cat, The Tao of Physics, Pride and Prejudice (Austen), T.S. Eliot poems, Dante’s Divine Comedy (not Dorothy Sayers trans! ) The Epic Of Gilgamesh, The Bhagavad Gita, Far From The Madding Crowd (Hardy), The Cloud Of Unknowing (unknown author), The Runaway Jury (Grisham)
