I've often thought how some creatures that we often view with disgust make our environment a much more pleasant place. I was reminded of those animals tonight while driving on the outskirts of the the largest city in my vicinity, and saw turkey vulture dining just beyond the shoulder of the road.
I don't even want to imagine the aroma if our carrion eating friends weren't cleaning up our road kill and other deceased beasts. So, hats off to the turkey vulture and its ilk.
No pictures this time, folks. You're welcome.
I have always said pretty much the same thing. Plus, many of the creatures that we tend to not care for very much always reminded me of us, they are usually smart, adaptable, and breed like rabbits. Maybe we just don't like them because they are competition. Also I love corvids so there's that.

Posted by InsectraA cute grey treefrog (Hyla versicolor) that I found in my birch tree, this afternoon. His camouflage was great and I only discovered him when I heard him calling.
