Can't get enough of North America's silk moths? Interested in getting more involved with them, but don't know where to start? Well then, I have a deal for you! I have an overabundance of rosy maple moth and Luna moth eggs, at present. I'm willing to share with anyone interested, within the US. They are free of charge and will be sent in an envelope, through the mail. Just send me a message with your preference (rosy maple, Luna, or both) and your mailing address. I have to have them in the mail no later than the 10th to ensure they won't hatch in transit, and I'll message you when they are sent. I'll share them until I run out.
Rosy maple moths feed on any native maple leaves and pupate underground. Lunas feed on hickory, white birch, walnut, persimmon, sweet gum, and sumac and pupate amongst the leaves/branches. I recommend reading about rearing these guys, but I'm also available to answer any questions you may have.
