Amazing pictures. I've seen a couple things in the last two weeks that made me wish I had a camera ready. First, I saw a fox attacking a groundhog. The attack was quick and brutal, but the fox went away looking for an easier meal. The second was an early morning close encounter with a very large blond coyote. He stared at me for at least 20 seconds from less than 5 yards away.

@Allamanda If only I were a competent photographer with a decent camera.

@Allamanda I've seen the groundhog a few times since. She seems to be fine.

@Allamanda They are tough little buggers and their teeth are a lot longer than they appear to be. Rodent teeth grow continuously and rub against their opposing counterparts. That keeps them from growing too long for the mouth, and also serves to keep them razor sharp.
