I saw this big female box turtle crossing my parents' driveway earlier this week. Tonight, she is digging a nest alongside the driveway, a bit further up. If she lays eggs there I will place a screen top to keep the skunks and raccoons out.

Success (I guess?) down near Reading. These things are EVERYWHERE. And to think I was worried I wouldn't be able to find any. I know I've said it before, but it really is a shame they're so invasive and destructive. They really are gorgeous.
