The amazing Mattie...after seeming at death’s door a couple weeks ago, she is back to beating up the other 2 kitties of the household and sometimes me (though to be fair, she only beats me up when I’m doing things like trimming her claws or giving her pills)! Also plotting world domination from her nest in the closet, but I’m not supposed to know what she’s up to in there....
Has anyone had to give their kitty amlodipine as a transdermal gel? Any adverse effects? We’re switching to that soon.

She’s been on amlodipine tablets for high blood pressure since the first of the year with good results, but I’m sick of getting her to swallow pills. The daily fight isn’t good for her quality of life...or mine.
When you almost lose them is when you become happy when they go back to their asshole ways!
