Amazing how selective their hearing is. I can stand over them and yell. Nada. No reaction. But, they can be at the other end of the house when I open the drawer where their treats are, and they are underfoot before I can reach the treats.

Mine always come running for the can opener, even though I've never used it for their food.
Mine only wakes up for taking lid off canned food.
