HI everyone, I am happily childfree, but it seems like I'm the only one in my small hometown. Everywhere I go, there's a woman with a or a child. It's like they're a goddamn accessory. No thanks!
Amazing how some are just programmed to making offspring as a milestone, or a purpose of being.
Studies show that with the population booming, it is quite detrimental to the environment / carbon footprint to be procreating the way most are.
Traditionally, it was believed or 'conditioned' to the masses that having children is the most selfless thing you can do; to live for another, to create life. Ok, however, it appears this decision to have offspring is rooted mostly in selfishness, because most of these parents want to live through their children. I get it, you want to pass on your teachings and wisdom through your 'mini-me,' however, there are many people on this earth, such as teachers, who are never paid enough to do the job, most parents are lacking.
And since you are from a small town, the pressure or 'conditioning' to make a community from within your household is even greater than those in big cities.
Small towns are the worst, and they seem to start younger..... :/
