A thankful nonparent. Just ending an eleven year partnership, due in part to her opiod prone child, who broke into the house while she was hospitalized and stole/pawned something of value. He is not allowed on the premises, and now she's leaving too....

Two years ago I had my fallopian tubes removed on Valentine's day. I can't say I never wanted children, but after my niece was born with CF and I was (what seems like) permanently single in my forties I decided to take it off the table.
