But impoverishing the lower class has gradually trickled up the ladder. As manufacturing jobs have been moved out of the country the line support engineers, accountants and everyone else involved have also suffered cuts and now it is also cutting into the demand for college teachers.
So members of the middle class are now falling into low paid jobs and this trend will accelerate if the same rules as were applied to working class jobs are also applied to middle class jobs.
Like why can't we get our medications for a fraction of the cost they are here, direct from India or China?
and
Some of our teachers are crap so why don't we learn on-line from countries that are actually good at the things we want to learn.
and
We are already sending a lot of programming and help desks out of the country.
The middle class are not going to continue to support neoliberalism now that it is hurting not just the working class but also the middle class.

True, the DNC has so many superdelegates it is hopeless trying to get who you want to run. The RNC has just had an outsider bust through and become President because he was nothing like as bad as the one the DNC had put up.
But we have had many honest Presidents and a number of good ones. A good one still doesn't get anything done because we need to somehow get a Congress that is less than 50% corrupt and the political system was designed to make that impossible.
We copied ours from the British which had some voting but the landed gentry automatically got places in the upper house and ran the show anyway. That was why we left and then we set up a similar system over here to ensure the rich remained in control.
