Lifting the booty - is it all squats all the time? Need advice, work out routines, tips n tricks for a better booty by summer. Please and thank you!

Downhill skiing and steep uphill hiking are the best things I have found for this purpose and they are fun enough to sustain themselves. I get bored with exercises unless I have a specific goal that I am training for so finding fun things to do that help achieve my fitness goals is essential!

booty is in its essency the power of the human, seriously, the booty is what makes us long distance runners and walkers, and the main hunting strategy of early humans was hunting by exhaustion.
So to develop this area you need to go into activities that will use leg.
Hiking, squating, some kinds of swimming etc.
Also reducing body fat if you want to show it. (we all have muscles, we just cover them with fat)

If terrain and weather permit, mountain hiking and climbing. You use a lot of leg, and both are a little more visually interesting than the stairmaster.

#1; Being a single mom...workouts with the baby in arms is easy. Here's an image from "manly-man" page...but I'm sure you get the message.

#2. It's often a mistake that you can focus on firming up one part of the body. If you're working out...your booty's fine....as is your back, tummy, thighs. etc. Focus on getting that huff-n-puff stage for a sustained time (say 20 minutes) and producing a good sweat. Scientists suggest that sweating used to be common before A.C...so make it so...sweat a little every day.

@Sarabobeara138 Butt squeezes all the time....whenever/wherever. If you go to bed and feel those butt cheeks burning, you know you've done enough. Make sure your protein is high...protein powder, greek yogurt, meats, etc. Those cheeks are big muscles.

Listening to music? Do them to the beat. Standing? Tippie-toes for 10....then about your business....then 10 more.

The most important workout tool is a fork. Specifically, what you choose not to put on it. You can not out-exercise a bad diet. Start there. If you want to get fit, leaner, stronger etc., join a CrossFit box. There has to be one close to you.

Currently I go to Orangetheory 2x a week and work out at home 3-4x a week - interval training in my stationary bike and body training. I need at home ideas since I’m a single mom and don’t have a lot of time for the gym. 🙂 I have a pretty decent diet and have been working on increasing my protein intake.

Lunges; stationary or walking, hi-hip deadliffs (hinge forward at the hips while keeping your low back flat and maintaining the same slight bend at the knees throughout), and straight leg cable kickbacks. One of the best online trainers is Charles Glass. I follow him on Instagram.

Squats are great. I like deadlifts too and I do the stair climber regularly as well, it's also awesome for shaping the booty and gives you a cardio workout/calorie burn ?
