I was indoctrinated is the societal norms of your standard 52 card deck, various mass produced board games and sports. Then at age 11, things changed. It was the onset of my D&D phase which continues to this very day. Add to it war gaming in general. Chit and hex, miniatures and paintball. Airsoft is a type of hardcore that I couldn't embrace due to its prohibitive price. But I admired it from a distance.
Now most of the time, the itch is satisfied by MMOs or the occasional nostalgic plunge into Skyrim.
Getting a new rig. A tower that can handle the strain better than this tired laptop. I got accounts in Wargaming and Steam. You want to hook up and kick some ass, I'm yer boy.

I'm glad for sites like Steam Games and GOG, digital games means no more need for CDs. I'm mostly into first-person shooters and action/adventure. Some of my favorites and in no particular order: Shogo Mobile Armor Division, Alien vs Predator 2, Max Payne, Soldier of Fortune 2 Double Helix, Day Of The Zombie, Halo. All time favorite would be Deus Ex, that game really rocks, and the Deus Ex Revision mod just blew me away. If the day ever comes I decide on online gaming, I'll endeavor to keep your invitation in mind.
