I sadly and angrily wish to report that I can no longer wear my LOVE TRUMPS HATE button. PEople now come up to me when I do do and wish to thank me for supporting our dreadful POTUS. All they see is the word TRUMP. I'm trying so hard not to actively hate him personally, but man, it's difficult.......

I know the feeling. For Halloween 2016 I decided to dress as a Trump voter (ooh, scary!) I bought a parody t-shirt of Trump, done in the red, gray and blue "hope" style from the Obama campaign in 2008. Big ol' caption that said "American Horror Story" and showed Trump screaming with that stupid piehole mouth of his. My stupid red cap in white lettering said "Make America HATE Again." It was clever, I thought, but all most people saw was "Trump." In stores, people kept glancing at the shirt then averting their eyes and avoiding me. Mostly racial minorities reacting that way. NOT the effect I was going for. (sigh)

Just think, there are plenty of Trumpers rocking the real merch. They have people giving them that look, avoiding them and they either don't care, didn't notice or they are happy about it.
I see nothing wrong at all with hating Trump personally, in addition to hating him for his policies. He is, after all, an intensely dislikeable excuse for a man.
