The NRA is lobbying against these guns.

They will only release the safety when facial recognition recognizes the owner (or authorized user) of the gun is accurate and will only actually fire when the finger on the trigger matches the fingerprint of the facially recognized owner (or authorized user.)

They can't be modified, used by unauthorized users (ie: thieves or children for example) but the NRA and other batshit crazy fearmongerers don't believe these guns are good for self defense because ???? They might actually be smarter than the average gun crazed insane people that believe the whole world is out to hunt them down them, rape their wife, kick their dog, set their cat on fire and steal their truck. Which according to a certain type of person, could allegedly all happen before AI would allow them to fire at all these alleged criminals (that don't really exist.)

These people actually convince their ilk that American gun owners can think faster than AI. I don't think they know how to read the room they're gaslighting.

Unfun Facts:
1.) Since 2017, gun violence attributed to self-defense has plummeted from 2,118 incidents to 1,178 in 2022. A nearly 50% decline in America, for firearm incidents used for self-defense.
2.) Accidental gun violence incidents, on the other hand, in 2022 tallied at 1,626. 25% higher than self-defensive use. (That number, too, has dramatically declined since 2016 at 2,235.)

So here we have a viable option to stop some gun violence without one single new law, anywhere. Rather, we can do it by SELLING MORE GUNS. But, no. So this whole bullshit line, "They wanna take my guns." has yet again, been proven utter nonsense.

It becomes more clear every single day, every single mass shooting, every single 72 hours, that these monsters LOVE to kill and watch others kill others.
They're not going to be happy unless it keeps happening. It's revolting.
