Happy "Throwing off the shackles of Empire" day!
I've briefly scanned through some of the posts here and noticed the Mike has posted a few of my debate inputs I shared with Spike as debate topics. While I'm flattered, I'd like to point out that my post was simply my initial cut at broad topics and concepts that could be honed down, modified, and clarified into potential debate topics. I'd suggest that there is more work on defining and clarifying these, if in fact these are even to be used before a debate is considered. A good example here is the term "subculture". My definition for subculture in this context is most probably not everyone else's.
I'd suggest that the more clarity we have up front, the greater the chance of meaningful results later.
