Do anything not address the real problem of metal health and curbing the hate in this country. Same with bulling in our schools because it would require some to get off their dead end and do something.
bulling in our schools is not a right given to those upper class kids who's parents can afford the best clothes and the better thing for their kids.
The problem I see is that mental health programs are very expensive and prone to lawsuits for removing people's freedoms. Also, mental health evolves. Issues like dementia or late onset illnesses can really complicate matters. Can you take away guns from people who have developed mental problems later in life. Bullying has always been a problem and with the increasing size of our schools the bullying also increases. Metal health programs are only useful if it can be used as a preventative measure. We need programs that are more comprehensive.
