The NRA Is Suing to Block a New Gun-Control Measure in Washington State
[time.com]
The majority of voters disagreed with the NRA, so the only possible reason is that we must've been fooled into believing background checks and an age limit for purchasing an assault-style weapon should be enforced.

So the NRA is sueing only because of the under 21 thing and people not living in Washington state.

I support gun rights, but not the NRA. All they do is spread lies.

It was a 60-40 split and the NRA lost. They can't sue the "fooled" voters, so they go after the state. Should be interesting, for the judge at least, to see what evidence the NRA produces. After the NRA told doctors to stay in their lane, it would be nice if a judge were to issue a hefty fine for the NRA's reluctance to do the same. They're clearly out of theirs on this one!

Today's NRA only exists to get more people to buy more weapons. They don't care about anything else.

When it comes to our elected officials money talks and bullshit walks. In the meantime, it's open hunting season on All Humans because of Second Amendment

@Kojaksmom only the bullshitters have the money

@GrantSmith I think the large majority ,particularly conservative Republicans, are bought and paid for by the NRA. They received millions + millions of$ to vote against any legislation that might hurt their profits

I heard that this morning. In the initial wrote-up of the bill this was anticipated. The NRA's actions have become crystal clear. The problem is that the 2nd amendment starts with "A well 'regulated' militia". The Supreme Court has also ruled that the supposed gun rights are open to regulations. I think this is just the usual stalling action and showing the members how they are willing to fight. Fortunately, this costs the NRA lost of money which is becoming in short supply.
