Missouri lawmaker introduces law mandating that every person own an AR-15.
There are no co-sponsors, and the measure isn't currently scheduled for consideration. Just a lone nut-job, I suspect.
Recently saw a post in which someone wrote that banning AR-15 infringed on their freedom, that they should be allowed their defensive weapon of choice. This rifle is so often in the news these days, but I have yet to read a single article in which one is used defensively. I would welcome an instance of an AR-15 being in the news when it's not associated with emotional disturbance or insecurity, but I'm not about to hold my breath for it.
I've posted this before. Obama said this back in 2016...and it makes more sense than ever today.
New Zealand is reacting to the massacre swiftly, strongly;
Sadly, we will not learn anything from it. It is highly unlikely that it will have a positive effect on gun control in the US
@Kojaksmom I concur. I keep this video ready to share....it's a great classic answer to a common question...by a great leader....I'm thinking the more we share this...the sooner we'll get good gun control.
@Robecology awesome video! I miss having a president
And from Faux non-news. One nut media group extolling a fellow nutter. This is clearly unconstitutional and would never pass any kind of legal hurdles.
Posted by DruviusMake it make sense.
