Thank you for compiling all of this. It must have been terribly time consuming. Gun reform is just common sense.

A couple of points.
First and foremost... ?? "... that I put together ..." ??? Looks to me like Mother Jones put it together. [motherjones.com]

Secondly, this is a subset of a much larger data set. These cases are limited: "the motive appeared to be indiscriminate killing. We used the following criteria to identify cases:"

My conclusion is... Huh? Where are you going with this? It looks to me like you are trying to trivialize a very serious issue.

Just the opposite gun control is only thing that will work. Access to weapons is the only way to slow down mass shootings.
Mostly white males only half had mental issues but over 3/4 acquired guns legal 13 schools but 27 workplace and 38 other places
The only constant is the weapons

NRA talks about everything else but the guns. I just showed you the only thing constant in 98 mass shootings is the weapons. Assault weapons and handguns account for 90% of these 98 mass shootings. Like it or not regulating or banning is the only effective way to reduce mass shootings. How do we introduce this information in a way that people can understand and be effective?

Nice bit of fact-checking. I was going to ask for attributions or source materials.

I did a bit of digging for stats to prepare a reply I was going to make to some comments on a post that I made on gun deaths - weirdly enough a week before the recent Florida mass shooting. Here was my post on Feb 3 2018. And the comments questioned the stats presented on the video that I posted.

But I didn't reply to those comments with my stats because, back then, I realised that I have no actual stake in the argument. I'm not American. Of course, I've been active again on this debate since the Florida massacre.

And this is the website I found which lists all gun-related injuries, including deaths. It's all arranged nice and neat in sortable tables: [gunviolencearchive.org]

Oh! And they have an interactive map with the numerical data: [gunviolencearchive.org]

EDIT: There has been 4 pages with 25 entries each of gun-related injuries and deaths since the beginning of March 2018. You Americans are just nuts!

@MikeFlora Now I am glad I asked! I hadn't thought of it the way you just explained it. Good job! Good job. I like that. Makes sense to me now. Thank you.

@Dick_Martin, your confusion was justified. I was too. Just seeing the stats without any context, I wasn't sure what point @MikeFlora was making. I'm glad you asked as well.

Mother jones had the facts on the shootings, I just did the math and the counting

@Dick_Martin Everybody has a stake in people dying, especially when they die because of where they happen to be standing. It doesn't matter where you are that's just wrong.
