To make story short... I was born in 1953 in Puerto Rico but registered in another year... so when ordered passport they are asking extra stuff like school records... The private catholic school I attended as a child closed years ago. The hospital I was born also closed years ago. I am going to Puerto Rico next month so I will get a Birth Certificate with photostatic from the hospital records the government has. Years ago a number of blank certificates were stolen and bootlegged most likely to undocumented Dominicans. Funny thing is that was not a problem when I joined the Navy. Was not a problem to obtain Top Secret Clearance for 20 years while serving. It was not a problem when I passed polygraph tests due my job. I will get the VA involved in due time since my clearance files still exist... I could make it an embarrassment for the federal government denying me a Passport but not yet. I will do my due diligence once I visit Puerto Rico. Now to buy a AR-15 I would have no problem. To buy a lot of ammo I would have no problem. America being America.

@pasha-one-nine Is all in a day of living. I am a Figure Larger than My Problems.
And I could buy as much ammo as I wanted with no problem but if I have a bad head cold I have to give my drivers license to the pharmacist in order to buy 1 box of Mucinex D because I may take it home and cook meth. We are a f**ked up society.

Assault rifles and high-capacity magazines should be banned nationally, including shooting an assault rifle, sales, gun shows, and ordering assault rifles from a different country.

Now how do we convince gun enthusiasts that this makes sense and protects them too? In my state, a former congressman just said that the crime in El Paso happened because the shoppers weren't armed. How do we get past this insanity?
