Brilliant! I've read that the city of Dallas paid their entire rental fee for the convention center (some $410,000) which was so upsetting to me.

I didn't know that. It sure pisses me off. I'm going to see who to contact to complain. City Council, Mayor's office?
I know, right? I can't find the article but it was by the Dallas Morning News columnist Robert Wilonsky. Maybe that would have more info. I'll let you know if I find it.
