This could be the ideal place to share ideas for disaster management, whether for or small situations. Most scenarios I plan on staying put so have built up pretty decent resources. Also have some plans in case we did have to take off for some reason, ie some 4wds, 2 vans, all diesel. We have stayed put through bushfires which saved our place as we hosed down sparks all night, being only 3-4 metres above sea level is not as bad as it sounds, floods come close but not into the house, we do get our access cut off often though.

It's the perfect place to share those ideas.

It's always good to keep water and warm dry clothes on hand for small situations.
