My apologies for being absent for a few weeks ...I’ve been a little indisposed. I’m recovering slowly now and thank you all for posting away in my absence. Roger posted Wolfstone a couple of weeks ago and for that I thank him as they’re a Celtic Rock Band from Inverness in Scotland that I really like, but had half forgotten. Here they are performing Battle live in Abedeen a few years ago.

Over 40 years I first bought Tannahill Weavers and then The Battlefield Band followed by Oisin and Ossian. I adore this sort of music which is an extension of the 78 dance records my parents had.
Bourne and MacLeod (that huge drunk) have played in Smithers.
