I still remember a session at a friends house and everyone , including my late partner got to playing drums. We had to sleep in an adjoining room and I couldn't. Thought I was going to lose it with all the pounding. Often tribes have these pounding session before they go to war. I seem to be more sensitive than some. Maybe I just have more Neanderthal DNA in me.
@JackPedigo I could not possibly comment! 
We had a weekly session called Kurtan and it involved an hour of chanting. Drove me crazy. I don't know what it is ,it just does.
