Desafinado is a well known Antonio Carlos Jobim song, and I’ve always loved Astrud Gilberto singing it. I’m posting a version of the song where she duets with George Michael in Portuguese...this elevates the song to a new level for me! I posted this song earlier in the Music Fans group.
For anyone learning Portuguese the lyrics appear on the video, over the tropical beach scenes.

Pleasant enough but smooching music, not serious. However is world music serious? No, I guess it is entertainment.

World music can be any type of music that isn’t considered from.the mainstream English speaking popular music genre, which is already played ad infinitum on our airwaves. I hope most of what is posted here is entertaining...at least to the majority of us who don’t believe the point of listening to music should be such a serious business.
