I’ve been listening to Vangelis earlier, and already posted a couple of songs by him elsewhere in other groups, so as he is a Greek musician and composer, I think he’d qualify here too. I’ve chosen the theme he wrote for Ridley Scott’s 1992 movie 1492: Conquest Of Paradise ...about Columbus and his expedition to discover the Americas.
