I’ve long had a liking for the sound of both Acadian and Cajun music...which are very similar to the point of being almost indistinguishable.. be they either French Canadian or from the bayous of Louisiana. I’ve chosen to post music from Louisiana today ...from Balfa Toujours who hail from The Boucherie in Eunice. The song is “L’anse Aux Pailles” (The Straw Handle).

I’m sure they were pleased to include anyone who wanted to play...it looks like a community group.
@Marionville Oh yes, absolutely. I have friends who love this sort of communal jams. I tend to watch and eat the munchies. I really prefer finger picking groups. It gets me jamming with some pretty talented players with sometimes quite a crowd of onlookers. On stage I am usually a solo player with another singer.
