I’ve recently become a big fan of another very talented Norwegian singer/songwriter, and have posted a few of her recordings and live performances already in other music groups. I have also just found out that she is an atheist (not really too surprising given that she’s Norwegian) and an environmental activist, so that has drawn me further towards her...even if I didn’t already think her voice and her music were something quite special!
Reincarnation - Live on top of Gaustatoppen Mountain. - Susanne Sandfor.
I don't understand atheists! It is so absolute. Nice guitar work. Pleasant voice but not always.
Roger, she is singing live in sub zero temperatures at the top of a mountain...cut her some slack and give credit to her for it...I could have posted her singing live at the Oslo Opera House, but in fact as I’ve already done that, I wanted to highlight her ability to sing in challenging conditions too.
“To explore the full range and the unimagined capabilities of our voices, we must not be afraid of sometimes making the ugly sounds too”....the best vocal teacher I ever knew, when I was learning how to use my voice and to sing properly.
@Marionville I listened to other songs of hers. Sorry, same criticism and she also sang off key briefly in one. Yes, I realised the conditions. It gets hard finger picking when cold. Many a time I've done that.
