@Marionville Thanks! Not on a beach but almost in the sea. Not really my cup of tea! I find it rather too loud and jolly!

@Marionville Ah, but I have attained a state of total acceptance, contentment and I am free of envy for anyone, having fully realised that stuff has no real value. My life is maybe not jolly but with my love of Palestrina, Tallis and Purcell and soft, gentle music and my love of walking in woodland (my land is gradually turning from huge cottonwoods into birch - not the same as the beechwood of my childhood but quite good enough), I have enough. I am so fortunate when I think of the millions around the world living in abject poverty in polluted cities. If the ultra-wealthy have 4 or 5 homes, do they actually have a home? I live on land owned by the animals who were here before people and I am friends with the children of the first humans on this continent. And my wife's death forced me to realise that love is all that matters and it is our duty to love everyone and everything.
@rogerbenham wise is the man who knows contentment.
