I’ve been watching some coverage of the Olympic Games from Tokyo and thought it would be nice to post some traditional Japanese Koto music today. Koto is the name of a traditional stringed instrument (image included below). The melody is called Sakura which means Cherry Blossoms performed by Toshiko Yonekawa.

By my sword, nothing cuts to the quick like the auteur's hauteur of a kabuki theatre restaurant for traditional music, dance, performance and cuisine.

@Marionville Yes, very calming. I listen to that style a lot in the late evening.
Looking somwhat like a Zither. I have seen similar instruments. In this case 12 strings become 24 notes.
