Jura is an island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland just to the north of Islay, they distill malt whisky on both islands and Jura single malt is highly esteemed. They also have an annual music festival and here is Lorne MacDougall and friends playing their set from the Festival in 2021.

I never had Jura but I love the Islay malts and drinking their ancient peats. The weather just is. sure it was often cool or wet so dress for it. With the snow gathered around us for 5 months to come and odds of it getting far colder, one dresses accordingly. I'm still wearing rubber boots but soon will chance A week ago I was still in moccasins.
I love this music but I canna listen to it all of the time!

I’m not a whiskey woman but I just might try this one. It looks mighty cold out there and the wind took the drummers hat off! The scenery is so beautiful!! Love bagpipes, and this fellow is quite good on the bagpipes!!

Scotch Whisky is spelled without the letter ‘e’ Rhonda…however I can still recommend you give it a try! Yes…I’m sure it’s pretty cold and blustery quite a lot on Jura…and yes, he’s pretty nifty on the bagpipes!
