I’ve always had a soft spot for English Country Folk Songs and this one by Ralph Vaughan Williams is a favourite…and one I’ve sung both as a solo and chorally countless times over the years. Linden Lea. - sung by Choir of New College Cambridge.

Well done M! You made me very nostalgic. I shall never return as I have decided that I should not ever fly again. Being Green has consequences as Greta T demonstrates. I'm sure I sang it but most of what I did was sacred rather than secular. Most of my secular was at prep school '56 -'60.

I remember singing this at school in the 1950s.

Beautiful, goes nicely with the tea I'm currently drinking.

Yes,.,that would fit nicely.

What sort of tea? I buy from Shanti in Ottawa but also my own mint and store-bought ginger root.

@rogerbenham I mix green & black tea together.

Hao Tea China Green Tea

Yorkshire Tea Loose Leaf

@Lilac-JadeCanada What is Yorkshire Tea? Stuff they grow on the moors? Or PGTips?

@rogerbenham [amazon.ca]

@Lilac-JadeCanada A variant of PG Tips!

@rogerbenham Also comes in gold, as well as the red label.
