James Asher / The Great Wheel
My wife taught me this one. She used it over and over for her university finals revision. I had several 4 hour reel tapes I'd made up and I know one was New Age which I likely used for Fluid Mechanics but I remember clearly using a tape of R&B for Mathematics revision. I got a 1st with distinction in both, not that matters 53 years ago other that choosing the right sound for revision can be incredibly efficient. One was all Celtic Reels, one was entirely 60's Rock and Roll.
One important discovery before those revisions was that if I revised for more than 5 hours I got sick and had to take a day off. Another was that I had a photographic memory that was 100% for no more than 3 weeks, so before that I prepared material for those 3 weeks. It made getting 95% very easy. After 6 months less than half was retained. I still have the 1/3rd exercise book that I memorised. I do not understand a word of it now. I had precis'd
the entire 3 years into that space!
Beautiful music
Listening to the whole thing over and over again, I love that I can just drift off. There is no need to feverously listen to the music, just let it roll over.
Really lovely video to accompany equally lovely music. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed this.
