We Brits have always had a reputation for eccentricity and as if to prove it…here’s the Ukekele Orchestra of Great Britain at the Royal Albert Hall performing Beethoven’s Ode To Joy in 2009. They are augmented by 1000 ukekele playing members of the audience of 6,000 who were all invited to bring their own ukes if they had one.
Ode To Joy is of course the anthem of the European Union which we were a member of until two years ago when we Brexited out!

How absolutely delightful Marje! Today is the baby shower for my granddaughter and I awoke in such a happy mood. This has added to my happy feeling!
