Today I return to Scandinavia…to the eastern part - to the Baltic shores, sparkling lakeland, and forests of Finland with its most eminent composer Jean Sibelius who took his inspiration from this landscape. I’m posting the beautiful Andante Festivo which Sibelius wrote in 1922. It’s performed by The Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.

It’s been a lovely day here…just went for a walk earlier.
@Marionville I worked out in the garden yesterday after getting back from my interview, and had such a nice time digging and planting! Today, Mother Nature is watering everything for me!!
@Redheadedgammy That’ll save you getting the hosepipe out.
@Marionville Yes! We try to conserve water here, and have to be careful not to use the hose too much as there are neighbors that will report you since we are in a Drought. 
@Redheadedgammy I didn’t know that!
@Marionville Since we are considered in extreme drought, some people have taken it upon themselves to report others who are just trying to keep their trees alive! I water, but do it carefully about once a week as I don’t want the trees to die. We’ve already lost so many due to the lack of rain.
