Oh, little field, cover the field with fog,
And on that field two Cossacks were killed.
One Cossack killed - a rich family,
The second Cossack killed was a poor orphan.
On a rich blue embroidered shirt,
And there is no lace on the orphan.
The whole family weeps over the rich son,
And over the orphan is a young girl.
Above the rich son is a high tomb,
And over the orphan is a red viburnum.

The size of the tomb is only status symbol. I'll take the viburnum. The red berry we locally call cranberries. I've often made fine wine from them Moose and deer eat them through the winter.
