Back to Scandinavian music again with a Finnish metal band with a worldwide appeal and following…..Nightwish - Amaranth.
So much aggro. Anger. I hope that you do not mind me not liking stuff. I decided some time ago to resist commenting on A-Ha
Less likely then to go out and vent anger for real….expressing aggression through performance is like a safety valve.
@Marionville I perform love, quietness, gentleness and, yes, often sorrow.
The funny part is that members of punk and metal bands come and jam with me! Lots of rockers.
@rogerbenham You have just proved my point. They are drawn to your more gentle music because they have already performed all their aggression away and have become like pussycats!
@rogerbenham Of course you’re entitled not to like stuff whether it’s posted by me I or anyone else! I don’t expect everyone to be as enthusiastic about a-ha as me…that would be unreasonable and unrealistic…however to dislike everything they have ever performed I would find strange as they have produced such a diverse catalogue of music, and most of it extremely melodic.
@Marionville I am sorry but I just stopped listening to A-ha after 3 or 4 tracks. I am finding that I'm perhaps turning into a curmageon when it comes to pop music. Something in me recently rebelled against chord music. Just about all the guitar players I know just either do plectrum chords or plectrum single note leads. The great leads are single notes though often bent notes. Yes, I do know a few who can do more but very few. As I have investigated composing more and more, I want more. I am posting pop but really it is few that I really like. Bring back 60's rock n roll!
Quite the video with this song! Very odd, but I do like the music.
Yes…I really like them too.
