Yes…and it’s worldwide I’m afraid. Men (usually) who basically have feelings of inadequacy and frustration and who vent these feelings on those whom they are supposed to love the most.

My first wife ruled every aspect of our life. She had to control. It taught me to never want to control or be controlled again.
I'm far too big and strong to be violent and anyway became a pacifist at 15 years old. I had contact with a Quaker family all of my life in England and then later in Grasmere.
Since I was greatly bullied at school, my inclination is always to side with the bullied. It got me knocked out once.
