I posted something by this Norwegian band in the Music Fans group at bedtime last night…but thought I’d give them some exposure here too. They’re from Stavanger and are called The September When and their lead singer, like that better known Norwegian band a-ha, is called Morten…Morten Abel in this case. - Where You Go, I Go.
Great hiking country. I'd love it.
Yes….I’m sure it’s not all that dissimilar to your part of the world.
@Marionville True. Their fjords are seemingly much steeper than the ones up here and may be more like the ones opposite Vancouver Island. The Knight Inlet ends up at the base of a 12,000 foot peak. Any coming out of the St Elias mountains in Alaska are likely very impressive. They go up to 20,000 ft but that is 1200 km north of me. Around here you need to be above 5000 ft before you see no forests. Around my home trails run to and around lakes or lead through forests. But a 25 mile drive from my home gets me up to close to 5000 feet and what we call prairie, really alpine meadow covered in flowers. Most of BC is continuous forests where not clearcut or farmed. Land between ranges tends to be farmed.
Pretty good.
I left a message asking about hubby on a different post!
A really good band, I like them and their Morten is good, but I like A-ha’s Morten better!
Of course…you can view that Morten over at Classic Rock, because I posted Move To Memphis there earlier today!
