It’s the 40th anniversary today of the official formation of a-ha…the day they actually made the move from Norway to London…which coincidentally is also lead singer and frontman Morten Harket’s birthday…he was just 23 on 14th September 1982, and today is 63! I thought I’d post something by him on his own in this World group and singing both in Norwegian and in English. So in his own language first he is appearing live on a Norwegian Christmas TV programme 1994 singing Engelen (Angels). The second song is from his 2014 album Brother and is titled Do You Remember Me?
Not everyone would want such side-by-side comparisons with their younger selves - and not very many would hold up so well in that amount of time. He was so pretty then, but now he's got a elegant depth to his appearance that's equally as attractive. Good for him, and for us!
I know…I think we must be the luckiest fans in the world. He’s also a really kind and decent human being too.
Love these Marje!! Gosh what a beautiful man Morten is!!!!
